Print Production Assistant

Stickers4 is a UK manufacturer of Stickers4 seasons, occasions, events & promotions whose products are in great demand around the world. We are a small family owned business who are looking for a new member to join the team and help out in this busy but fun environment. The successful candidate will carry out the following:

- Learning to use wide format digital printers
- Print finishing (using cutting rules and guillotine)
- Stock management
- Packing customer orders
- Packing stock for Amazon fulfilment

The successful candidate should:

- Have a keen eye for detail
- Have good hand/eye co-ordination
- Be of a practical nature with problem solving abilities
- Be fully computer literate with a basic knowledge of using spreadsheets
- Have an interest in print production

The successful person will be working under our Production Manager and alongside other Stickerlings in the print room. We are a close-knit team who look out for one another and we work hard and play hard, with regular out-of-work activities for those that want to participate. There is a clear career path with generous performance related salary perks along the way. We are looking for a full time person, Mon-Fri with possible weekend work during busy periods, who can easily commute to our office & print studio in Winchester. Salary range: Experience dependent £17k-£20k before bonuses.

Junior Graphic Designer

Here at Stickers4 we transform windows with our beautiful static cling products, we use the latest print technology to create unique designs for homes and businesses. We design, manufacture and fulfil all our products on site in our Winchester premises with our small but dedicated team, and have continued to expand even during these difficult times leading to this position within our design team.

Working with us: 

Our business was born in 2003 to husband and wife team Dan & Alex Rye. Operating from our premises in Winchester we have grown our team and our printing capabilities over the years, and we now utilise the latest print technology to develop our range of beautifully vibrant seasonal window and wall graphics, for home, retail, cafes & restaurants.

What you’ll be doing: 

Working closely with and supporting the Design & Social Media Executive, the Junior Designer will develop design concepts through to finished designs, based on research and market analysis, this includes the full lifecycle of products from conception through to digital/web assets for our website, online marketplaces, and social media channels. We actively encourage career progression, so this is the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic Junior Designer with strong creative skills and the desire to learn, improve and develop their career.

⁃ Printed Materials - research, design, and develop new products including Seasonal window clings, Wall stickers, Labels and Advertising material.

⁃ Digital & Social Media - creation of web ready assets for sales channels as well as promotional assets for social media and email marketing.

⁃ Photography / Videography - support with product photography shoots and videography when and if needed

⁃ Photo Editing - retouching images to a high standard and generating digital mock-ups of products.

⁃ Marketing Materials - creating various marketing materials for both print and digital to promote our products/services

⁃ Supporting the Wider Team - as we are a small team sometimes you’ll be required to help out in other areas of the business during busy periods (packing orders, answering customer queries etc.)

Essential Skills: 

⁃ 1-2 years professional graphic design experience

⁃ Degree in Graphic design or Visual communication desired but not essential (A strong portfolio of work is what we’re looking for)

⁃ An impressive portfolio showing creative examples of a range of print and digital work

⁃ Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)

⁃ Strong typography and layout skills

⁃ Basic HTML and CSS knowledge

⁃ An interest in social media and design for social media

⁃ Ability to research trends to inform and develop new products for market

⁃ A strong work ethic

⁃ Ability to work as part of a small team and chip in when needed

⁃ A self-starter with good time management

⁃ Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually

⁃ Need to be able to react quickly and multi-task across various projects at once

⁃ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

⁃ Experience in design for print and an understanding of print processes as this is a large part of the role. (Training can be provided, but a basic understanding would be needed)

Bonus Skills: 

⁃ Digital Illustration skills would be advantageous

⁃ Photography/videography knowledge beneficial but not essential

⁃ Experience with email marketing software (Mailchimp etc.)


⁃ Salary: £18,000 to £20,000 per year
