Static cling window stickers
Clean the glass thoroughly and generously spray it with water mixed with a few drops of washing-up liquid. Peel off the backing and place the cling with its unprinted, shiny side against the glass. Slide it into position, then hold it in place and squeegee out excess water and air. Let it dry. Watch our application video.
Yes. While the glass and cling are wet, slide it gently into position before squeegeeing out the water and air.
Gently peel it away from the glass. Static clings remove without sticky residue; avoid pulling sharply or creasing the print.
Using and caring for your clings
These instructions are for clean window glass; we can’t confirm suitability for walls, textured surfaces or other materials. Standard off-the-shelf clings are applied inside the glass to be seen outside, so text may appear back-to-front from indoors. Specially printed versions are available for internal windows, display cabinets and mirrors. Check product details or contact us if unsure.
Clean with warm water and a weak washing-up-liquid solution; avoid harsh products and rubbing the print. Return clings to their original backing for storage. Put baking parchment between double-sided full-colour prints; store flat without heavy weight or loosely rolled with all print covered by parchment. Suitable static clings can be reused.
Check individual product details and contact us before ordering for a window in prolonged direct sunlight. We do not specify a universal fade-free lifespan; double-sided colour visibility is not a no-fading guarantee.

Vector artwork such as AI or EPS is preferred, with text converted to outlines. Raster artwork should be prepared at the final print size, in CMYK, at a minimum of 300 dpi. If you’re unsure, contact us before preparing your files.
We print on both materials. Tell us where you’ll apply your stickers and how you plan to use them so we can discuss the appropriate option. Static-cling removal and reuse guidance doesn’t automatically apply to self-adhesive vinyl.
Exact Pantone colour matching cannot be guaranteed on specialist materials. If colour is critical, discuss a supplied colour sample with us and request a proof. Proof pricing varies by job.
